Sodium copper chlorophyllin, alias green is dark green. My humble talent powder, with a metallic luster, odorless or slightly special smell of ammonia, moisture, light and thermal stable. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and chloroform, slightly soluble in ether and petroleum ether. Aqueous solution is blue green clear clear liquid. Calcium ions precipitate when it exists. It is one of the nine natural pigments stipulated in our country. It is the only green pigment that can be used in food industry of our country. Widely used in cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical colorant.
Sodium zinc chlorophyllin is a dark green fine crystalline substance with metallic luster, it is sodium zinc chlorophyllin (R a = CH3) and B sodium zinc chlorophyllin (R = CHO) mixture of sodium zinc chlorophyllin has good water solubility, water solution bright green in alkaline conditions, in the strong acid A (PH < 4 = solution is green, but slightly turbid. The solution is slightly soluble in ethanol, methanol, chloroform, insoluble in petroleum ether, acetone, hexane. The stability of light and heat resistance of chlorophyll zinc sodium is better than that of chlorophyll, but the light resistance of sodium zinc chlorophyllin is poor, and further research on its light fastness is needed. Sodium zinc chlorophyllin has good oxidation resistance and anti reducibility. Sucrose, glucose, salt, Vc, citric acid, several common food additives have little effect on sodium zinc chlorophyllin.
